DIP Foundation is proud to announce its collaboration with Unspoken Smiles, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the oral health of underprivileged children in Costa Rica. Together, these two entities have embarked on a transformative mission: the restoration of a house to create a space that provides hope and opportunities for the most vulnerable children.

This restoration will not only result in the design of their first preventive oral health clinic, where children will receive free, high-quality care, but it will also house an interactive museum dedicated to raising awareness about oral health. The clinic will serve as a beacon of hope for children in need, providing them with the essential dental care they deserve, while the museum will educate and empower the community to take charge of their oral health.

The architectural proposal spans two floors, meticulously crafted to accommodate both a museum and a dental clinic. The challenge lay in seamlessly integrating these two spaces, creating a harmonious environment that fosters a sense of community and exudes vitality. The foundation's vibrant colors are thoughtfully incorporated throughout the design, manifested in graphics, furnishings, and finishes that resonate with the foundation's mission and vision.

This dual-purpose project stands as a testament to the power of collaboration and community-oriented design. By combining a functional clinic with an educational museum, DIP Foundation and Unspoken Smiles are not only addressing immediate dental health needs but also fostering a culture of awareness and preventive care. The project serves as a model for how collaboration and design can be leveraged to create positive social change, transforming lives and empowering communities.
