Design and Site Context: Inspiration from Nature and Environment
A place's nature and cultural environment are an endless inspiration in design. Design increasingly blurs the line between nature and the surrounding context through integrated designs, from shapes, colors, and textures to the environment's aesthetics and cultural elements.
Extending the essence of territory through design and architecture has guided the creative decisions of our team across multiple projects. Each element must contribute to the experience of the environment so that it seamlessly integrates into the atmosphere. These 5 projects have achieved this: making nature and the cultural environment the protagonists.
Lake House. Santiago, Mexico.
The lake as a backdrop inspired the essence of this project, with each space oriented and illuminated by its exterior landscape.
Ocean Boulevard.
The essence of Miami's sea extends into the interior of this residence. Implementing materials such as travertine for the slab gives the sensation of continuing to walk on sand, while the light tones resonate with the surrounding environment.
Oaxaca Hotel
Both, the facade and interior of Hotel Oaxaca are imbued with the paradisiacal essence of its beaches. It maintains its organic essence from the vegetation cascading from its balconies to the implementation of finishes and materials that celebrate authenticity and natural beauty.
Kora Luxe Resort
A natural oasis surrounds our latest master plan, Kora Luxe Resort. This environment guided both urban planning and the selection of finishes and materials. Terracotta tones were used as a starting point in the design, with the bungalows over the sea permeating the paradisiacal essence of this project.
West 144
The historic center of Puebla shines through the finishes and materials of West 144. The earthy color and reddish tones of the finishes mirror Puebla's historical landscape.
