In the blend of sophistication and sobriety emerges Mendelssohn House, an interior design project located in Monterrey, Nuevo León. Inspired by the timeless hallmark of DIP Arquitectos, this project features furniture in dark tones, giving each space a modern and sophisticated identity.
The foyer welcomes guests with tobacco brown furniture and dark gray shelves. The fireplace is not just a decorative element; it serves as a room divider, subtly separating the foyer from the living room, creating a sense of privacy and tranquility. The double-height living room maximizes the use of space. A rectangular chandelier with rounded finishes spans the entire height of the wall, dominating the space and matching the dark gray leather sofas, lending a modern look to the area.
The kitchen perfectly exemplifies this fusion of functionality and elegance. The red marble island and the tabletop of the same material not only serve as practical elements but also become striking focal points that add a dynamic touch to the space. This masterful use of red marble is repeated in the guest bathroom and the master bathroom, becoming a key element of the project's identity.
The master bedroom is an oasis of contrasts. The dark gray ceiling and gray carpet create a neutral base that, combined with the red-toned textile on the back wall, injects a distinctive touch into the project. The marble nightstand and the smoked glass mirror maintain the consistency of the project's identity.
